This Privacy Policy explains how ConSales (the “App”), operated by ConTech (“we”, “us”, or “our”) through the service at consignment.technology, collects, uses, and protects your information. ConSales is a business tool used by salespeople to manage consignment operations (consignees, orders, deliveries, invoices, payments, and claims). By using the App you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

Account & profile information — your name, email address, phone number, username, and work-related details (such as company, employee code, and bank details used for commission), provided by you or your company administrator.
Precise location — with your permission, your device location is used to find nearby consignees and to record the location of a visit. Location is only accessed while you are using the App.
Camera & photos — with your permission, photos you capture or select are used to attach delivery signatures, payment receipts, and claim evidence to your records.
Device information — device model and a push-notification token used to deliver messages relevant to your work, and a user identifier associated with your account.
Business & transaction data — the consignment records you create in the App (orders, delivery orders, invoices, take-backs, payments, and claims).

How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the App and its core consignment features.
To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
To show nearby consignees and record visit locations (location data).
To attach photos to your business documents (camera/photos).
To send you operational push notifications and reminders.
To provide customer support and improve the service.

We use your information only to provide the service (App Functionality). We do not use it for third-party advertising and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

How Your Information Is Shared

Cloud storage — photos and files you upload are stored using Amazon Web Services (AWS S3).
Push notifications — delivered via Apple Push Notification service and/or Google Firebase Cloud Messaging.
Your organization — the business records you create are visible to your company’s authorized administrators within the consignment system.

We do not sell your personal information. Service providers may access data only to perform services on our behalf and are obligated to protect it.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Business documents may be retained for record-keeping even after an account is closed, in a form that no longer identifies the individual user where possible.

Your Choices & Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account directly in the App at Account → Delete Account. Deleting your account disables sign-in and removes or anonymizes your personal information (name, email, phone, photos, identity documents, and bank details) and invalidates your sessions. Some transactional business records may be retained in anonymized form for legal and accounting purposes. You may also revoke camera, photo, location, and notification permissions at any time in your device settings, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your data.

Security

All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. While no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, we use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information.

Children’s Privacy

ConSales is a business tool intended for adult employees and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date above will be revised accordingly.
